GoTo4Gardening Shortlisted for GMG Website of the Year
Local business GoTo4Gardening has become North West’s number one gardening website and runner up for GMG Awards 2016!
Shortlisted alongside gardening giants the RHS and Thomson&Morgan, GoTo4Gardening are proud to have been selected as Website of the Year runner up for the highly prestigious Garden Media Guild Awards 2016 at their annual sumptuous awards lunch held in the Savoy Hotel London!
In the last six months since launching, GoTo4Gardening has become the North West’s number one gardening website. Created for UK gardening enthusiasts of all abilities and backgrounds, the website has reached well over 30,000 impressions per month in this short timeframe.
Founded by Manchester based entrepreneur, Jack Haffner; GoTo4Gardening has received thousands of forum posts about dozens of gardening topics. There are hundreds of subscribers to the weekly newsletter, where recipients get expert seasonal gardening advice and exclusive gardening discount codes.
Jack Haffner says: “ [I couldn’t actually believe it when I saw my name on the list next to the RHS – not bad considering my shoe string budget compared to their hundreds of millions!!] It must be everyone’s dream to make a living from their hobby, and my dream has started to come true! I love gardening and saw a gap in what is available online for the UK gardening community – I wanted to provide a full gardening web experience including the obvious well written articles and a forum but also a dedicated gardening classified site and an area where gardeners can upload their own localised advice and experience. I have been truly amazed by the growth in popularity of the site in 6 short months. The professionals in the gardening media industry must have recognized something here by short listing the website and I hope to try to win the award next year!”
The social media channels for the website have grown exponentially in the last six months – over 1,000 followers on Twitter, 1,500 Likes on Facebook and almost 1,000 followers on Instagram!
New users of the site can share and discuss gardening problems and solutions and get expert advice from renowned horticulturists such as Pippa Greenwood. There are also hundreds of classified adverts with daily additions of all things gardening related being bought and sold. Users enjoy benefiting from a dedicated gardening classified site where they can post free adverts. Gardeners from throughout the UK and beyond are attracted to the site by the hundreds of expert articles covering all aspects of gardening.Previous PostNext Post
