To make garlic extract, take a bulb of clean, disease-free garlic and discard the papery wrappers and the basal plate. Crush the whole bulb into 10 litres (two gallons) of water. Water it onto areas of your garden that you’re not currently using for growing allium family crops.

    Greetings zainab123 and Jhw!

Sorry to hear about the white rot – it is an awful disease. I’ve heard about treating with garlic extract but not heard of any feedback – success or failure when using garlic extract to treat white rot – Jhw have you tried it yourself?

Does anyone else out there have any experience of using garlic extract to treat white ro?

    Good gardening

    Jack
