    Hi there,

I’m looking at re-doing my garden of a house I’ve just moved into. We don’t get much sunlight and in scotland, it’s very cold most of the year. Does anyone have any ideas of suggestions about suitable plants to put in my garden?

    Thanks.

    Alex

Hi there..I’m in Scotland too..I’ve got phornium..ferns and cordyline growing really well in my garden..they’re good structural plants and don’t need much sunlight..I’m on my third try with canary island palms and faux castor oil plants, which I’ve overwintered in my greenhouse this year..fingers crossed 😂..you should try crocosmia too..I started out with just a few of them..red and orange ones and now there’s loads of them..they die back in winter and start sprouting again about now..good luck with your garden..let us know how you get on
