ugh ugh ugh greenfly on my tomatoes – they are covered! Any tried and tested non-chemical ways to get rid of them? Is there anything I can do to prevent everything else in my greenhouse from being attacked?
Sorry – bit late now for this year.
to try to prevent them next year … make sure you disinfect your pots with dilute Jeyes (kill any remaining eggs), and keep a beady eye out early in the seasons – deal with them asap.
Hope that helps.
yes! ladybirds will do the trick. make sure you close the door/windows of your greenhouse before you release them though ….. not that ive ever made that mistake
haha GG! I’ll remember that top tip 😉
saw this thread from last year …. that’s reminded me about last years fiasco! i must take time to prepare all of my tomato gorwing kit (that 3 months gorwing tomatos to save myself £3 in the shops …)
