I have ants in my soil. not just one or two … but under my grass is crawling
im grossed out. what on earth can i do???
jonsey has just posted a link on another thread about nematodes – his link:
I’ve never used nematodes before, do they work?
i’ll try anything!!!! BOUGHT!
yea, ants are bad this year. nematodes work.
they do indeed! grass is pretty much free of the crawling little, um, darlings. Anyone know how long i need to leave between applications? feel like it needs a second go just to finish the job.
umm … no expert, but id say it was ok. id want to make sure that the original treatment was well watered in for a couple of week or so … dont want too much hanging around
yes – should be fine. make sure you are following the instructions about the amount of water and watering in … ive never had to make a repeat application so soon – it should wipe them completely.
hey KG – should i have watered after the application? it was just a bit gross…. i put it down and walked away!
ah ok, read the instructions this time 😉 watered after and the horrible little creepy things have all gone! lovely job
