Gardens are brilliant to visit, but how about hiring a venue space at one? How amazing would that be?!!
*Hiring the Orangery at Kew Gardens, London
What a wonderful spot! I was at Kew last Saturday (17/12) and there was a wedding/reception just about to happen. What a wonderful background for some stunning photographs! Kew Gardens would be a spectacular setting for any event and your group would be sure to remember the day.
*New venue space for 2017 at RHS Rosemoor
I was at RHS Rosemoor, Devon this week and I saw that they are replacing their marquee hire space with a ‘bricks n mortar’ venue. For those of you who haven’t visited Rosemoor, you really must – it’s a treat! The gardens are as immaculate as you would expect from a garden carrying the RHS name, but they also retain a Devonian feel to them. There are formal hedged gardens and lawned spaces with wide walk ways. While I was visiting I talked to some gardeners who were building a new hidden path to accompany a new orchard area – a visit in the New Year is called for!
*Lecture spaces at Chelsea Physic Garden
In my travels I have been to many different lecture theatres and seminar spaces. Now, if you are looking for a lecture space with a difference – investigate what the Chelsea Physic Garden can offer you. In a large room above the restaurant area there is an impressive space for a group space. The lunches that can be arranged are delicious and a little ‘different’. Step out form your lecture or seminar and you are in one of the true ‘hidden gems’ of the capital!
If you are looking for somewhere impressive or different to hold an event of any description – why not look at what the gardens of the U.K. have to offer? Not only will you have a spectacular day, you will be helping to support our wonderful landscape.
